Pothole Repair
Road potholes are a major problem in road maintenance. The current conventional methods of pothole repair are often expensive and inefficient. They are short lasting and often require using special machinery and material heating, which results in high overhead costs and traffic interruptions.
Road pothole repair with TL-2000 is quick, cheap and easy. The TL-2000 pothole repair solution is long lasting and designed to minimize interference with traffic. Once a road pothole is repaired with TL-2000, the road can be immediately opened for traffic.
This is what a typical asphalt pothole looks like :
Road pothole repair such as the one displayed above is easy. Mixed with graded asphalt, a TL-2000 based asphalt repair mixture is achieved. No prior preparation or heating of the pothole is required. This mixture is then simply poured into the pothole.
The mix is simply poured into the pothole, no matter it is dry or full of water. The road can immediately be opened for traffic, as compaction of the mix is effected by the wheels of moving vehicles.
The pothole remains completely intact for a long time. The mix adheres to the surrounding asphalt and becomes unnoticeable in a few days time giving the road surface a continuous look. Pothole patching with this method can be done even when the pothole is water filled. Application is done either manually or automatically, depending on different preferences.
Peeled off asphalt is an otherwise almost useless waste. With TL-2000, this material can be recycled for a cheap and ’green’ asphalt repair solution.
The following short video demonstrates the process of pothole repair by using TL-2000 and recycled old asphalt.
