The simplest conventional method of pothole treatment road repair consists in filling the pothole with cold asphalt concrete mix and rolling the surface with a motor roller. The road may be re-opened for traffic in 12 hours after the treatment. However, the adhesion of cold mix to the pothole inside is inadequate, and the material comes off the road after a relatively short time.
